Where are we?

ADDRESS:  Polglaze Barton Farm, Liskey Hill, Perranporth, Cornwall, TR6 0BB (please ignore the postcode on the map above)

From the north

Heading into Cornwall continue on the A30 west.

You will pass Cornwall Services on your left at Victoria, continue on the A30 west for another 11 miles until you reach Carland Cross junction where you need to come off, it is signposted Truro/Zelah I believe.

Carland Cross is a new very recently completed junction after major roadworks to dual this section.  As you come off I think there are still some temporary signage but you need to go right as you come off the junction onto the roundabout and go underneath the bridge to get to the other side where you will see another roundabout.  At this second roundabout take the first exit which should be labelled Perranporth.    As these roundabouts are still being finished it is very easy to go wrong.  If you end up taking the turning A30 Redruth don't worry as this will just take you back onto the A30 dual carriageway and you can then come off at Chiverton Cross roundabout and come into Perranporth from the other direction (if this happens please see directions below which will bring you to us from that way).

If you have gone under the dual carriageway and left at the second roundabout to Perranporth in approx 2 miles you will see a sign for Perranporth/Goonhavern on your right (if you have a sat nav this should take you this way).

Continue on this road for approx 2 miles and you will come into Goonhavern village.  Turn left and then immediately turn right at a set of double roundabouts towards Perranporth.

Continue on this road into Perranporth - you will come down a steep hill into Perranporth after you pass the Haven holiday site on your right.

As you come into Perranporth you will pass the Texaco petrol station on your left and at the next roundabout you will see our local Co-op on your left.

At this roundabout take the 2nd exit which will take you through the town where you will see all our local shops.  Follow this road through the town and continue past the boating lake on your right, going over the zebra crossing left to take you up Liskey Hill.

As you progress up Liskey Hill you will pass Perranporth school on your left and then Liskey Hill caravan park on your right.  Continue to the top and as you go over the brow of the hill you will see a large opening on your right with stone walls which is the entrance to our farm.

As you turn into this entrance you will see a green sign saying "Polglaze Barton Farm" on your right.  Please be careful as come down our lane as it is single width.  We are a working farm and our tractors and other large agricultural machinery use this lane for access so you may encounter these at times.

Continue down the lane and you will see PERRAN VALLEY HOLIDAY HOME directly in front of you with a gravel driveway and large granite stones on the grass.

Please do not go through the metal farm gate to the right of the property as this is for farm access only and for your own safety guests of Perran Valley Holiday Home are not permitted through this gate.  Thank you.

DIRECTIONS FROM CHIVERTON CROSS JUNCTION

After Carland Cross junction there is now a new dual carriageway for about 8 miles which has just been completed.  At the end of this stretch is the new CHIVERTON CROSS junction.  If you miss Carland junction please continue on down the A30 until Chiverton.  At Chiverton junction take the 5th exit onto the A3075 which will should be labelled Perranporth/Newquay (again as these roadworks are not completely finished there may be temporary signage).

After about a mile take the left turn onto the B3284 towards Perranporth.  After another mile take a left to continue on the B3284.  Again after another couple of miles you will start to see our farm on the left hand side with white buildings.   As you go up the hill towards the farm you will see a 1 mile to Perranporth white marker stone, just after this is the entrance to our farm with stone walls and the green sign saying Polglaze Barton Farm.  Follow the lane and Perran Valley Holiday Home will be in front of you.
