About Perran Valley Holiday Home

Perran Valley Holiday Home (sleeps 4 plus baby in cot) is a spacious 2 bedroom semi-detached Bungalow overlooking Perrancoombe valley less than a 5 minute drive to the nearest beach of Perranporth and its ameneties. This lovely peaceful rural retreat is set on a working family farm with wonderful countryside views and only a short drive away from the busy towns of Perranporth, Newquay and Truro.

The property is situated on Polglaze Barton Farm, a working arable family farm. As you proceed down the short lane from the main road you will see Perran Valley in front of you with a gravelled driveway and Cornish stone wall in front of you.

Outside we offer private parking for 2-3 vehicles with a gate into a private garden with stunning views over farmland and beyond. A patio and garden furniture can be found in the garden and to the rear of the property there is an outside wash and storage area you can use for wetsuits and beach gear.

Our property is non-smoking, however we do offer an outside smoking area for guests who wish to use it.

Internally and externally the property has been newly renovated and has a clean modern finish. 

Through the front door into the modern white kitchen you will find plenty of workspace and cupboards together with a dishwasher, washing machine, oven/hob, fridge freezer and microwave.

Going through the kitchen to your right you will find the second bedroom which had wardrobe space and drawers together with a zip and link bed which can be set as either a king size or 2 x 2ft 6 singles. Please specify to the owner your bed preference for this room.

In between the kitchen and second bedroom is the modern family bathroom which has a bath and over bath shower, toilet, sink, storage and electric towel radiator.

Going back on yourself through the kitchen is the open dining area with a table for 4 plus a high chair is available if needed.

Leading through an open archway into the lounge we have freeview TV and DVD player together with DVD’s for our guests to use during their stay. A large sofa with plenty of seating overlooks the garden and patio. For younger guests we have a football/multi games table along with a selection of board games and books.

The main bedroom off the lounge has a king sized bed, lots of storage, dressing table, mirror and a full sized cot if required.

Both bedrooms and the kitchen have been fitted with USB sockets for easy phone charge and WIFI is available in the property. 

If you book direct with us there there woudl be no extra booking fees with this property

7 night stays during July, August and half terms, short breaks at other times of the year are available.

Please note the property is situated on a working arable farm so at various times throughout the year there will be agricultural tractors, other large farm vehicles and farm workers using the lane. For your own safety please be aware that tractors may appear between your parking area and the entrance to the farm on the main road. Please keep children under your supervision at all times when in your parking area and around the large bolders on the grass area. You may also see the vehicles and workers in the field at the bottom of the garden and in the field next to the lane. Perran Valley Holiday Home visitors are NOT permitted through the metal farm gate which leads to our farm yard. This gate may be open during your stay to allow for farm traffic to enter but please ensure that your guests and children DO NOT go through this gate for your safety.

The owners of the property live on site next door in the adjoining bungalow so are on hand if necessary. However please only contact them by the telephone number provided only.
